Hi, my name is Dominik Trnka, and I’ve been selected to represent Australia at the U20 Ice Hockey World Championships, a goal I’ve worked towards since I first represented my state.

Having this opportunity is an incredible honour. It’s not just about competing; it’s about representing my country, testing my limits, and showing what I have dedicated my life to. However, as ice hockey is a self-funded sport in Australia, I need financial support to cover travel, accommodation, and tournament costs. I’ve trained tirelessly for years, balancing school, training, competitions, and work to reach this level. Now that I’ve earned the chance to wear the Australian jersey, I don’t want financial barriers to hold me back.
