Introduction

Founded in 1911, the East Burwood Football Netball Club has proudly served our community for generations. The current pavilion, built over 40 years ago, is a testament to the dedication of past members. Now, as we prepare for its demolition and reconstruction over the next 18 months, we have an incredible opportunity to build something that truly meets the needs of our growing club and community.

At our core, we are a family-first club, where every member—whether player, volunteer, or supporter—is embraced as part of a close-knit family. This new facility will empower us to strengthen that tradition, particularly through our junior program, by providing modern change rooms, inclusive and accessible facilities, and a home that welcomes everyone wanting to play community sport.

East Burwood Football Netball Club is thriving, with:

• 3 senior men’s football teams
• 4 senior women’s netball teams
• 5 mixed junior football teams & 3 girls’ junior football teams
• 2 Auskick programs
• Our growing club is a hub for players and families, fostering a love for sport, teamwork, and community connection.

The club’s new pavilion and fit-out will include:

• State-of-the-art accessibility features, including ramps, accessible restrooms, and better pathways for those with mobility needs.

Why This Project is Vital

Our current pavilion, while rich in history, is no longer able to meet the needs of our expanding membership. This transformation will solve key challenges, including:
