My name is Ebony Webb and I am proudly representing the Wide Bay Waves Women’s Rugby League team at the Hawaii International Rugby League Clinics & 9’s Tournament in Honolulu, Hawaii in October 2026.

This opportunity is about more than just rugby league. It is about creating pathways and opportunities for regional and rural female athletes to grow through sport, leadership and international competition.

Across the week, our team will participate in international rugby league clinics, community engagement events and the 9s tournament alongside athletes from different backgrounds and cultures.

To make this opportunity possible, I am actively fundraising and seeking sponsorship support to assist with travel, accommodation, uniforms, insurance, tournament fees and athlete development costs.

As a regional athlete, opportunities like this can be difficult to access due to the financial barriers involved in competing internationally.
