I'm from a small farming area called Tansey 3 hours north west from Brisbane.

I compete in Discus and now qualified to be apart of the QLD team that heads to nationals in December.

This year the 2026 Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics All Schools Championships will be held in Perth at the WA Athletics Stadium

I meet with my coach once a week and the other days I train at home on a home made discus ring.

Discus is a sport that is not easy to accomplish especially in the area that I live.

Making a Qld team is a huge accomplishment.

I've been nicked named The Paddock Kid, because I usually have to collect my discus from the paddock.

That includes dodging the cow poop and looking out for snakes!

Every dollar raised will help me help me get to Perth.

The goal is to raise over $5,000 to help cover costs

I have also been planning on doing a multi draw raffle and sausage sizzles to help raise funds, as every dollar counts.

If your able to donate money, it would be very much appreciated to help out this small town country kid get to the other side of our big country to help represent QLD and encourage all the other small town kids wanting to give athletics a go.
