Elijah is an 11 year old neurodiverse child, diagnosed with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and anxiety.

About 2 years ago Elijah started to learn basic gymnastics which has helped immensely with his fine motor skills, balance, strength and ability to focus. He has worked hard in this discipline, training twice a week to improve on his skills. Elijah has now been selected in the South Australian state team to compete at the upcoming Special Olympics Gymnastics Border Challenge in Qld to be held 27th July 2025.

Special Olympics Australia is part of a global movement using the power of sport to build a more inclusive world for people with intellectual disability and/or Autism.

This is a very exciting moment for Elijah who takes great pride in his sporting achievements.

These amazing opportunities come at a cost. Entry into the event, uniforms, flights and accommodation quickly add up. This fund-raiser will assist in lightening the burden of these costs to help make this opportunity become a reality for Elijah.
