Hi, I’m Emily Cairns, an adaptive CrossFit athlete from Perth, Western Australia!

This year I’m working toward competing at the Adaptive CrossFit Games in San Jose, representing both Australia and the adaptive athlete community on an international stage.

Training and competing at this level requires an enormous amount of dedication, time and financial commitment. Between flights, accommodation, competition expenses, recovery, training and travel costs, international competition quickly becomes expensive.

CrossFit has completely changed my life and given me the opportunity to show what adaptive athletes are capable of.. not just in sport, but in everyday life. Through competing and sharing my journey online, I hope to continue challenging perceptions around disability and inspiring others to pursue things they once thought were impossible.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping me get to San Jose and compete at my best.
