Hi, I’m Emily a 17-year-old Australian sprint canoe athlete chasing a lifelong dream: representing Australia at the Olympic Games.

I started canoe sprint in 2023, and from my very first national championships I won every race I entered. That moment changed everything. Since then, I’ve had the honour of representing Australia at the Junior World Championships, and in 2026 I am aiming to compete at my second Junior World Championships, my first Senior World Championships, and three World Cups as I continue my journey toward Olympic selection.

Behind every start line is years of early mornings, cold water, relentless training, setbacks, and belief. I am currently part of the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) as an Emerging Athlete, and I train full time while managing the growing financial demands of high

performance sport.

Travel, equipment, coaching, recovery, and competition fees quickly add up and none of it is possible without the support of people who believe in the dream as much as I do.
