Hi, I'm Emily Whitehead, an Australian artistic gymnast, two-time Olympian, and proud Commonwealth Games representative.

I began gymnastics at a young age, and what started as a childhood passion quickly became a lifelong dream. Over the years, the sport has taught me resilience, discipline and perseverance, shaping not only the athlete I am today but also the person I have become.

Throughout my career, I have had the incredible privilege of representing Australia at two Olympic Games, two Commonwealth Games and multiple World Championships. Following the Paris Olympic Games, I underwent shoulder surgery, which ruled me out of competition for 12 months. Returning to elite competition and earning selection for my third Commonwealth Games has been one of the proudest moments of my career and a testament to the dedication, resilience and perseverance required to compete at the highest level.

Outside of gymnastics, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education while balancing around 30 hours of training and more than 20 hours of work each week. It can be a busy lifestyle, but I love the challenge and am committed to giving my best in everything I do.
