Every great sporting journey begins with someone believing in a young athlete.

At just 13 years old, Emma Leung is chasing her dream of one day wearing the green and gold and representing Australia on the world stage. Her journey has been built on discipline, resilience and countless hours of training before and after school. That dedication has already seen her selected in the Tennis Australia Super 10 Squad, finish No. 1 on the 2025 De Minaur Tour (Girls 12U), achieve a Top 15 Australian UTR ranking for her age, and reach the quarter-finals of her first ITF Junior tournament, proving she can compete internationally. Off the court, Emma was recognised as North Shore Tennis Association Junior Sportsperson of the Year, volunteers in her community, and works just as hard at school as she does on the court.

Every day starts before sunrise for Emma. She is on court by 6am, trains before and after school, and spends countless hours working on every part of her game. Her passion and determination drive her to keep improving, but behind every training session is a family making sacrifices to support her dream—moving house to be closer to training, juggling demanding work schedules, driving countless hours to tournaments, and ensuring she has everything she needs to recover and perform at her best. We are incredibly proud of Emma’s commitment, resilience and the way she embraces every challenge, and we want to give her every opportunity to continue chasing her dream of representing Australia on the world stage.

Pursuing international tennis comes with significant financial challenges. Travel, tournament entry fees, accommodation, coaching, equipment, physiotherapy, sports science support and training costs quickly add up.
