I want to ride for Australia in the sport of eventing. I work hard and I believe I have the technical skill and ability required to win a medal. I've earned a place on the Equestrian Australia High Performance Emerging Athlete squad for the past several years.

The costs of campaigning a horse with a view to team selection are significant. In addition to the general upkeep and feed costs there are competition entry fees, travel (including overseas travel) and training costs.

Given Australia is so far from where most of the eventing action is in Europe, the UK and the USA, if I'm serious about being selected I need to be able to show the selectors that I can be competitive against the best in the world.
