I started playing indoor hockey as a kid, falling in love with the fast pace, the strategy, and the camaraderie of the game.

Over the years, I’ve worked tirelessly to hone my skills, leading to the immense honor of being named in several Australian squads. However, as many amateur athletes know, the pride of selection often comes with a significant financial hurdle.

In the past, despite the sweat and the stats, the dream of representing my country has remained just out of reach because of the high costs of international travel and competition.

Now, at 41, I have been selected to represent Australia in the Masters World Cup in the UK. This isn't just another tournament; for me, it is the culmination of a lifetime of sport. It’s my chance to finally put on the green and gold jersey and stand on the world stage to represent my country in the game I love.
