Hi.

I am Ethan Bardy and I have had the honour of being selected to represent the U16 Boys ACT Hockey Team in the 2026 National Championships in Hobart.

Hockey has been a big part of my life with it being a family sport starting with my Grandparents. I am a passionate member of the Falcons Hockey Club in the Hockey Abury/Wodonga Association and have had the privilage of representing them as part of HAW Junior Representitive Teams both currently and in the past.

I have the aspiration to go as far as I can in the sport with the ultimate goal to represent Australia playing with the Kookaburra's and this oppurtunity is my first stepping stone in chasing this dream.

Unfortunately this comes at a large cost for my parents timewise and financially. Being based in Wodonga and travelling to Canberra twice a week for trainings, equalling 14hours in the car per week, and then culminating with the tournament in Hobart, which incurs travel and accommodation costs, uniform plus the hockey fee's to be part of the team, this is a big commitment for my family.
