    ABOUT Ethan Mott

    Parklands, TAS

Ethan Mott is a 17-year-old apprentice electrician with a passion for ocean ski racing and a work ethic well beyond his years. Balancing the demands of his apprenticeship with early mornings on the water, strength training, and competition preparation, Ethan has shown the discipline, resilience, and commitment required to compete at the highest level.

Ethan has been selected to represent Australia at the 2026 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships in Spain this October, an incredible honour and a major milestone in his sporting journey. The championships bring together leading ocean ski paddlers from around the world, and Ethan will proudly wear the green and gold as he tests himself against the best in his age group and beyond.

As a young athlete and apprentice, Ethan is working hard to fund this opportunity while continuing to build his future career. The costs involved in travelling overseas to compete—including flights, accommodation, equipment hire and transport, race entry, uniforms, and training expenses—are significant.

We are seeking support to help Ethan make the most of this awesome opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage. Every contribution, large or small, will go directly towards helping Ethan get to Spain and compete with pride, determination, and gratitude.

Your support will help a hardworking young Tasmanian athlete chase his dream, represent his country, and hopefully inspire other young people to believe that dedication and commitment can open doors to the world.
