Since the age of four, Etienne has loved playing ice hockey. What started as fun on the ice quickly became his passion. Whenever possible, he competed against other teams and continued pushing himself to become a better player. His dedication eventually led him overseas, where he is currently training and playing to enhance his hockey skills. Despite many challenges along the way, his perseverance and love for the sport have kept him moving forward.

After years of hard work and commitment, Etienne’s dream has come true—he has been selected to represent Australia on the U18 Australian Ice Hockey Team.

As part of this incredible opportunity, Etienne will travel to Germany for a high-level training camp before heading to Serbia to compete in the World Championships this April.

Being chosen to represent Australia is a huge honour and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, like many amateur sports in Australia, athletes and their families are responsible for covering the costs. Expenses such as travel, training camp fees, accommodation, uniforms, and tournament costs quickly add up.
