Evia has been selected for a composite team to represent Australia (Australian Raptors Rugby Academy) in an upcoming international rugby tournament in the U.S.A. during March 2026. This is a momentous achievement for her and a source of immense pride for our family, her rugby club, and community.

Evia has been playing rugby union since under 6 (mixed team) and has been the starting hooker (no.2) in her 8 year rugby career. Evia has also represented her school region (Metropolitan East - mixed) and her team have come away as a Qld State Champions for 2 consecutive years (2023 & 2024).

Evia lives and breathes rugby union playing both 15's and 7's and has made the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union team for boys and girls in over the past couple of years and represented Brisbane City this year for u14 girls.

As you can imagine, participating in such a prestigious event involves a range of expenses, including travel, accommodation, training gear, and tournament fees. While we are doing everything we can to support the her dreams, the financial commitment is significant and she will undertake numerous fundraising events to help minimise the costs.
