Fencing Victoria is responsible for growing and developing fencing across Victoria, but as a smaller sport we do not have access to the level of funding, sponsorship and resources available to many mainstream sports. Fencing also requires specialised equipment which can make it expensive for clubs to introduce new participants to the sport.

Your donation can help us reduce those barriers and give more people the opportunity to try fencing and find their place in sport. Fencing can be particularly valuable for young people who may not be drawn to traditional team sports. It is a sport that rewards concentration, discipline, self-control, problem-solving and respect for an opponent, while providing the sense of belonging and connection that comes from being part of a sporting community.
