My name is Finbar Mulhall, an 18-year-old road cyclist from Perth, Western Australia. In 2025, I had the opportunity to spend a substantial portion of the year racing throughout Europe, gaining exposure to elite competition and taking important steps forward in my development. The experience I gained was instrumental in achieving key results and in securing my next major milestone for the upcoming season.

Throughout my time abroad, I came to understand the significant demands placed on young athletes pursuing a professional pathway in cycling. The financial, logistical, and personal challenges are considerable, and success is rarely achieved without a strong support network. My Next Step: Joining Hubo Scott Cycling Team

In 2026, I will be advancing into the U23 category as I join the Hubo Scott Cycling Team. This represents a major progression in my career and provides a structured, high-performance environment essential for my continued development.

The team’s extensive international race calendar will allow me to:

• Gain consistent exposure to higher-level competition
• Develop within a professional, data-driven performance framework
