ABOUT Fitzroy Junior Football Club
FJFC was formed in 1993 and since then has provided recreational opportunities to thousands of young people. Last season it had over 600 players (male, female and non-binary) and is one of the largest clubs in the Yarra Junior Football League. FJFC has some 28 boys, girls and mixed teams across age ranges from under 8 through to under 17 ½ years old.
Our mission is to support our players to participate in an inclusive, fun and safe football environment that champions our values and the benefits of community sport. FJFC recognises and is committed to achieving inclusion by ensuring our club reflects the diversity of our local community.
Our vision is to be the best community-based ‘Aussie Rules’ junior footy club, where members are proud to belong because the club provides an environment that inspires a love of football, lives by strong values, and defines success broadly — developing confident, capable young people.
To achieve these objectives FJFC relies on hundreds of volunteers donating their time and the fund-raising activities and generosity of its members, sponsors and people in the community who are prepared to provide financial support. Your donation would be gratefully received and put to very good use “supporting the kids” play footy and enjoy the benefits of team sport.
