My name is Flynn, and I’ve been playing softball since I was 3 years old. From representing my club, local district to my region and Queensland from the age of 11, softball has always been a huge part of my life.

I’m passionate about training hard and always working to be the best player and teammate I can be. I’ve also been lucky enough to captain teams along the way, which has helped shape me both on and off the field.

In 2025, I achieved a dream I’ve had for as long as I can remember—representing Australia in the U18 Junior Aussie Steelers team at just 16 years old. This came after being named MVP and Best Batter at the U18 Nationals in Sydney.

I’m incredibly proud to have been selected again for the Junior Aussie Steelers and will be heading to New Zealand to compete in the WBSC U18 World Cup Qualifiers.

Softball is fully self funded and with a hard working single mum as my primary provider she works very hard to make sure my dreams become a reality. I’ve seen firsthand the commitment and sacrifice it takes to compete at a high level. Elite sport comes with significant costs, and this upcoming trip alone has a price tag of $7,100. Despite the challenges, I’m determined to keep chasing my dream and make the most of every opportunity this sport gives me.
