Football NSW is sourcing funding to support our representative pathway teams because we are a grassroots funded sport that does not benefit from massive media broadcast deals or major commercial contracts. Unlike professional codes that rely on television revenue, our development programs depend heavily on community support and player contributions. To provide genuine opportunities for talented athletes to progress through the pathway, we require financial assistance to assist players to cover essential costs such as registration fees, uniforms, equipment, and qualified coach payments. Without adequate funding, many promising players may miss out simply due to financial barriers. Investing in our representative pathway teams ensures equal access, supports high-quality coaching, and strengthens the long-term growth and success of football in our community.
