In 2026 Todd Kidd, Australian Olympic, Commonwealth Games and World Champion boxer joined Fortitude Amateur Boxing Club taking the reigns and beginning to transform the club. Under his guidance the club has begun a resurgence of wins. Currently we are winning over 85% of the fights we enter. Our boxers are in the National, State and representative teams. And it's not all about winning, Todd is also working with the "Bush Clubs" that have always been part of the Fortitude story, training young boxers disadvantaged by distance, but with the same raw talent. Our young boxer’s success means they now are fighting in more tournaments, and further form home. That means flying more often, and that's a cost we can't all afford.
