At Freedom Sports Foundation (FSF), we believe sport has the power to change lives.

Yet every day, many Australians living with disability face barriers that prevent them from participating in the sports and activities most people take for granted. Whether it's access to specialised equipment, inclusive programs, trained coaches or simply an opportunity to belong, too many people are still left on the sidelines.

Freedom Sports Foundation was created to change that.

Founded by people with disability, athletes and families with lived experience, our mission is simple: to ensure every person, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to participate, connect, belong and thrive through sport.

What began as a personal journey has grown into a national movement. Today, FSF delivers inclusive and adaptive sport programs across Australia, including Wheelchair AFL/NRL/Basketball, Rowing, Boccia, seated Volleyball, adaptive sport, school-based inclusion programs and disability awareness education.

Our programs are about much more than sport.

They build confidence. They create friendships. They improve physical and mental wellbeing. They help participants discover what is possible rather than focusing on limitations.

Through partnerships including AFL Victoria, Wheelchair NRL, Invictus Australia, ASAPD, and a growing network of schools, sporting clubs and community organisations, we are creating opportunities for people of all abilities to experience the joy and benefits of sport.

Why We Need Your Support

Demand for our programs continues to grow, particularly in regional and rural communities where access to adaptive sport opportunities can be limited. Funds raised through this campaign will help us:

• Purchase and maintain adaptive sporting equipment and wheelchairs
• Deliver inclusive sport programs in regional and rural communities
• Support children and young people with disability to participate regardless of financial circumstances
• Train coaches, volunteers and community organisations in disability inclusion
• Expand our school and community engagement programs
• Create more PD's for school staff and communities

A contribution could help fund adaptive sports equipment, support a community activation, assist a participant to access a program, or help us introduce inclusive sport to a school or community for the first time.
