My name is Freya Buckmaster and I am a 17 year old cross country mountain biker from Hobart, Tasmania.

    I have recently been selected to represent Australia at the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Val de Sal, Italy. Earlier this year I won the Under 19 XCO Mountain Bike National Championships at Mt Buller and finished 2nd at the Oceana Championships in Brisbane. In May this year I got a taste of racing in Europe when I was selected to attend a development camp with the AusCycling National team. This further developed my international race craft and improved my overall world ranking.


    I am hoping to raise some money to help pay for costs associated with this amazing opportunity. Any small contribution will be greatly appreciated.
