Dear Family and Friends,

My name is Gabriel Wood, and I’m a 15-year-old athlete from Australia ( about to turn 16 tomorrow ), with a deep passion for competitive sports such as NFL Flag, Gridiron, AFL, rugby league and volleyball. 

With high hopes that is quickly becoming a reality, I have recently been given a fantastic opportunity to represent Australia at the U17s NFL Flag Tournament in Los Angeles this coming June 2026.

Being selected to compete on an international stage is something I’ve worked towards since adapting to this sport in a short period of time. Countless hours of training sessions and extreme effort have all led to this moment. To wear my country’s colours with pride and compete against some of the best young athletes from around the world is a great honour.

However, this opportunity also comes with significant costs, including air fares, accommodation, tournament fees, uniforms, and other travel expenses. As a young athlete, I’m reaching out for support to help make this journey across the Pacific possible.
