Gals Who Golf Coffs Harbour Inc. started in 2026 with a simple idea: golf shouldn't feel intimidating, exclusive, or out of reach for women. What began as a handful of gals meeting up on the range has already grown into a community of 230+ members across the Coffs Coast, supported by six partner venues and a completely volunteer-run committee.

We exist to break down the barriers that keep women off the course — cost, confidence, and the sense that golf "isn't for them." Through PGA-professional-led sessions like FUNdamentals, Range Queens and Bunker Babes, we're giving women a low-pressure way in, whether they've never held a club or they're getting back into the game after years away. It's about real women, real courses, and real conversation — swing, sip, socialise.

Right now, we're a community connector: we bring women together, link them with local clubs and pros, and build the social confidence that gets them onto the fairway. The funds we raise will let us go further — starting with a community equipment library, so beginners who don't own clubs can borrow a set and try golf without any upfront cost. It's a small thing that removes one of the biggest barriers to entry.

We're a not-for-profit run entirely by volunteers who believe golf is better — and more fun — when it's shared. Every dollar raised goes straight back into making the game more welcoming for the next gal who's never picked up a club before.
