Geelong Hockey Club: A Legacy of Community and Sport

Established in 1913, the Geelong Hockey Club is one of the oldest and most respected sporting clubs in Australia. Formed through the amalgamation of Geelong's first men's and women's hockey clubs, the club has played a pivotal role in promoting and developing hockey throughout the region.

The club has a rich history of fostering local talent and nurturing a community of passionate hockey players. Today, the Geelong Jaguars Hockey Club calls Stead Park its home, featuring two state-of-the-art hybrid synthetic pitches that cater to both training and match play for the Jaguars.

The club offers a variety of programs for all ages and skill levels, including junior competitions for Under 6s, Under 8s, Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s, and Under 18s, all held at Stead Park. This ensures that hockey remains accessible and enjoyable for players of all ages. For senior players, the club fields both men's and women's Division 1 and Division 2 teams, welcoming participants of all experience levels.

The Geelong Hockey Club is proud to provide a family-oriented environment where members can enjoy fun, friendships, and fitness while contributing to the community spirit of the region.
