ABOUT Gemma Power
Hello, My name is Gemma and I have Autism and Intellectual Disability. I am passionate, kind, friendly and really enjoy Ten Pin Bowling. I also love socialising with my friends. I am in a Special Olympics Ten Pin Bowling League every Tuesday night during School Term. It's lots of fun, learning new bowling skills and the socialisation.
I got selected to represent WA, competing in Ten Pin Bowling at the Special Olympics National Games in Melbourne on October 19th - 23rd 2026. which is a huge achievement which I'm incredibly proud of and a dream come true. I also said when I joined Special Olympics I want to one day compete in National Games. I am excited and really looking forward to the Special Olympics Nationals Games this year.
I would be most grateful for any donations to help me to raise the funds to help to cover the cost of Flights, Accommodation, Travel, Uniforms, Competition Fees, Training, and Meals for the Melbourne Special Olympics Nationals Games.
Thank you for supporting me. It means a lot to help me achieve and chase my dream. I will do my best for the WA community in the Ten Pin Bowling Lanes doing the sport I love.
