ABOUT Gladstone Gymnastics Club
For nearly five decades, Gladstone Gymnastics Club has been a cornerstone of our community. From humble beginnings with 12 gymnasts in a small shed, we have grown to over 800 members ranging in age from 6 months to 86 years. Thousands of Gladstone locals have benefited from our programs, from developing strength and confidence to competing on state, national, and even international stages. Our founder, Mrs. T, still coaches at age 81, and our athletes continue to represent Gladstone with pride across Australia and the world.
Gymnastics is more than a sport—it’s a foundation for lifelong wellbeing. At our club, children and adults alike build strength, balance, focus, and resilience, while forming friendships and a sense of belonging. While we are governed by a dedicated volunteer committee, the club employs skilled, accredited gymnastics coaches to ensure safety and quality. Our programs foster benefits that extend far beyond the gym, supporting future success in both sport and life.
Our programs include Tiny Gym, Toddler Gym, Kindy Gym, Recreational Steps, Ninja Freestyle, Schools program, Competitive Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Adult Social, Masters and Fitter for Life (50+) Gymnastics.
Gladstone Gymnastics Club has shaped generations, and we are determined to continue this legacy. However, like many not-for-profit organisations, we face significant challenges. Rising costs mean that without urgent support, our future is at risk. That’s why we’ve launched our Secure Our Future Campaign, aiming to raise extra funds by December to keep our programs running. We are calling on past members, families, and the wider Gladstone community to help us ensure that gymnastics remains accessible for generations to come. With your donation or sponsorship, we can protect this vital community hub and give our gymnasts the chance to keep tumbling into the future.
