ABOUT Grace Rider
2025 Virtus World Swimming Championships
Hi, my name is Grace Rider, I’m a 17 year old competitive swimmer and proud member of Ivanhoe Swim Club. I’ve been selected to represent Australia at the Virtus 2025 World Swimming Championships in Bangkok, Thailand from 20–30 August 2025, an incredible honour and a major milestone in my swimming career.
Over the past year, I’ve worked incredibly hard, competing at the Australian Age and Multiclass Swimming Championships, where I reached four finals. In 2024, I was awarded the Victorian State Age MC Swimmer of the Meet, taking home two gold, two silver, and four bronze medals.
This opportunity means the world to me, but it comes with a significant cost of $6,500, which covers flights, accommodation, team gear, meals, and staffing.
Every contribution helps me get one step closer to competing with the world’s best and proudly representing Australia on the international stage. I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
