    ABOUT Harley Mcnaughton

My name is Harley McNaughton, and I’m seeking your support as I pursue qualification for the Youth Olympic Games 2026, to be held in Dakar, Senegal. I am proud to meet the eligibility criteria for this prestigious event, and I’m committed to doing everything I can to earn my place on the Australian team.

As a passionate and dedicated showjumper, I believe that gaining international experience is vital to my development and success. Competing in Europe will allow me to train and perform at a high level, gain exposure to top-tier competition, and deepen my understanding of the global showjumping circuit.

I am currently the 2024 Australian Children’s Showjumping Champion and have been selected to represent Australia at the FEI Children’s World Final 2024. Over the next 18 months, I will be undertaking an ambitious training and competition schedule, much of which will take place overseas.

In early 2025, I trained in the Netherlands with Australian Olympian Hilary Scott and participated in an intensive two-week program under the guidance of former Youth Olympic Games medalist Jake Hunter, alongside Duffy Sporthorses. I am also a proud member of the Victorian High Performance Youth Squad and have consistently represented Victoria at the Australian Interschool Nationals, winning the Australian Primary School National Title in 2022.

My international competition experience includes events in New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, and Ireland, where I’ve had the opportunity to compete at top-rated shows against some of the world’s best young riders.

I am truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had so far, and I would be honored to have your support as I continue this journey. Every contribution will help me move one step closer to achieving my goal of representing Australia at the Youth Olympic Games.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering being part of my journey.

    Warm regards,

    Harley McNaughton
