Pitch In for Progress: Support Girls &amp; Women in CricketAt Hawthorn Boroondara Cricket Club, we believe that cricket is for everyone. But for many girls and women in our community, the path to participation isn’t always smooth. Whether it’s a lack of access to the right gear, the absence of proper uniforms, or the invisible barriers of tradition and representation, we know there’s still work to do to make our sport truly inclusive. That’s why we’re launching a vital campaign to raise funds for our Junior Girls and Women’s Cricket Program, with an ambitious goal: to reduce barriers to participation, grow community engagement, and support equality in sport. We’re also proudly investing in new Honour Boards to ensure that every club legend — past, present, and future — is recognised and celebrated equally.
