My name is Henri Bellanger, I'm 18, from Denmark WA, and in April I won the 2026 NACRA 15 Australian National Championships with my sailing partner Mia Waters (from Esperance, WA). That result has earned us selection to represent Australia at the 2026 NACRA 15 World Championships in Plymouth, UK this July — our first ever international regatta.

I'm asking for your help to get us there.

The NACRA 15 is the Youth Olympic catamaran, sailed by a mixed team of one male and one female sailor — Mia and I have been racing together since December 2025. Australia's NACRA 15 fleet is small but growing fast. In Plymouth, we'll line up against fleets of 80+ boats from across Europe — the best young catamaran sailors in the world, on start lines far busier and more competitive than anything we've raced at home. This campaign is about giving us the experience to compete at that level.

NACRA Europe has generously donated the lease of a boat for us to sail in Plymouth — a huge vote of confidence in our campaign. I've also spent the last two years in the Australian Sailing Youth Squad and as a member of the Great Southern Academy of Sports, which supports me with strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, psychology, and nutrition. The foundations are there. What we need now is to get to the start line.
