The Hobart Chargers are currently the only club in Tasmania offering both male and female athletes the opportunity to compete at an elite level. We are proud to support local talent and are deeply committed to helping Tasmanian athletes reach their full potential. As we approach our 30th anniversary, our focus is firmly on the future — ensuring we remain a cornerstone of Tasmanian basketball for the next 30 years and beyond.

However, our current revenue model is limiting. It restricts our ability to provide the level of remuneration and support that athletes might receive from interstate clubs. We want to change that. Local athletes deserve access to the same professional environment and opportunities as their peers across the country.
