    ABOUT Horsham City Rowing Club

    Horsham, VIC

Horsham City Rowing Club has a proud history of providing social connections, sustaining community engagement, promoting the Wimmera River as a valuable regional resource for health and fostering the appreciation of the natural environment. As defined in its constitution, the Club’s purpose is:  “to promote, teach and compete in the amateur sport of rowing”. We all work together to make the Club facilities, programs, rowing and the fun our own.

The Club is a membership based and volunteer driven not-for-profit organisation, advocating the sport of rowing and fitness within our local community, district, and Rowing Victoria. It is open to everyone and caters for all ages from Juniors (age 12 plus) up to Masters (age over 27), and attracts both competitive and recreational rowers. Our Junior squad of school aged rowers is growing strongly and recently expanded through our Learn to Row program. The Club is pleased to involve local youth in such a rewarding and highly skilled team sport that is usually only available to private schools beyond the Wimmera district.
