At just 14 years of age, Hunter is chasing a dream that started 6 years ago with the love of swimming. This is now turning into something very special.

Hunter has been working incredibly hard to develop as a sprint swimmer, firstly representing NSW and now QLD competing at the highest level of age-group swimming in Australia.

At 13, Hunter swam an incredible 50m Freestyle Long Course at the Australian Age Championships, making him the number 1-ranked 13-year-old in Australia for that event.

Now at 14, Hunter continues to push himself and has achieved strong performances across multiple events.

Hunter has been given an incredibly exciting opportunity. He has been invited to travel to China this September to compete in an international swimming competition. 🇨🇳🏊‍♂️

For Hunter, this is more than just another competition. It’s an opportunity to race against international swimmers, gain valuable experience on the world stage and take another step towards his dream of one day representing Australia internationally. 🇦🇺

But behind every race are hours of training, early mornings, kilometres in the pool, gym sessions, competitions, travel and countless sacrifices.

Getting to this level also comes with significant costs. Training, coaching, competition fees, international travel, accommodation, racewear and equipment all add up throughout the season.

That’s why we’re asking our family, friends, community and anyone who believes in young Australian athletes to help Hunter chase his dream.
