ABOUT Isla Spry
In December 2024, Isla had a bad crash at BMX training which resulted in her having internal bleeding from a ruptured spleen. She spent 7 nights in hospital, and 14 weeks off any physical exercise including no BMX riding. It was a long 14 weeks for her, and Mum and Dad. For a while, she didn’t want to get back on her bike. Until one day, she decided she wasn’t going to let the fear of crashing again stop her from chasing her dreams of going to the BMX World Championships. The hard work and determination she has shown this year has been nothing short of amazing, and we are so proud of her qualifying for the Brisbane world championships in July this year.
Every BMX season brings incredible opportunities, but it also comes with significant travel and competition expenses. As our daughter continues to chase her dreams on the national and international stage, we’re raising funds to help cover the costs of her journey.
Your support will go towards flights, accommodation, training, race entry fees, bike maintenance, equipment, and all the essentials needed to compete at her best. Every donation, big or small, helps make these opportunities possible and allows her to focus on doing what she loves.
