ABOUT Jackson Wylie
Hi, I’m Jackson, and I’m chasing a dream - to represent Australia on the international squash stage. I’ve come a long way since picking up a racquet at age 11, and now I need your support to take the next big step.
This year has been a whirlwind. I turned professional and played my first pro tournament. I’ve just returned from competing in the Australian Junior Open and Oceania Championships in New Zealand, where I placed 3rd in both. I also had the honour of representing Australia in the Trans-Tasman Test, where we made history by defeating New Zealand on their home courts for the first time ever.
I’m now ranked #1 in Australia for juniors and have been selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Championships in Egypt this July.
But international competition comes with significant costs—travel, accommodation, coaching, equipment, and more. That’s why I’m fundraising: to give myself the chance to compete at the highest level and chase my dream of becoming one of the world’s best.
My short-term goals are to:
- Finish Top 32 at the World Championships in Egypt
- Win the Australian Junior Championships
- Place Top 16 at the British Junior Open
Long-term? I’m aiming for the Olympics. I want to be Australia’s #1 and represent our country at the L.A. Games.
Balancing this with my final year of school isn’t easy. My days start at 5:30 AM with two hours of training before school—running, gym, solo squash, and video analysis. After school, I’m back on court for coaching, group sessions, and competitions. It’s over 15 sessions a week, plus tournaments, recovery, and stretching.
Every dollar raised brings me one step closer to Egypt, to the world stage, and to making Australia proud.
Thank you for believing in me and being part of this journey.
