    ABOUT Jade Bartholomeusz

    Greenslopes, QLD

My name is Jade Bartholomeusz, and I am an elite Australian field hockey athlete, entrepreneur, and business student at Queensland University of Technology. I represented Queensland at the U18 National Championships, winning back-to-back gold medals in 2022 and 2023, before progressing to the U21 level and winning a third National Championship gold medal in 2024.

In 2025, while competing at the U21 National Championships, I suffered a major ACL injury that challenged me both physically and mentally. After an extensive rehabilitation process, I returned to play in less than 10.5 months and recently represented ACT in the U21 team at the national championships.

Alongside my sporting career, I am also the founder of 1% Activewear, a brand built on discipline, resilience, and the philosophy of continuous 1% improvement. My career goals are to continue to expand my business network and expertise, leave a lasting positive impact and apply 1% Activewear's philosophy accordingly.

Looking forward, my goals is to continue progressing into senior-level hockey and competing at the highest level possible, hopefully getting an opportunity to play hockey one with Canberra Chill later this year.
