    ABOUT Jai Coomber

    Wodonga, VIC

Jai Coomber is a 15 year old emerging athlete making a strong impact in Wheelchair AFL and NRL. Representing the NSW/ACT Rolling Rams, he earned selection in the Toyota AFL Open Wheelchair All-Australian Team and became the youngest all-Australian, recognizing him as one of the competition’s standout players.

Beyond his talent on the court, Jai is widely admired for his resilience, determination, and caring nature. He has overcome challenges with courage and continues to inspire those around him through his positive attitude and commitment to his teammates. Known for always supporting others and encouraging younger players, Jai demonstrates true sportsmanship both on and off the field.

His dedication to Wheelchair sports reflects not only his athletic ability, but also his passion for inclusion and community. Through his leadership, compassion, and perseverance, Jai has become a role model who shows the power of resilience, teamwork, and kindness in sport.

Wheelchair sport has helped me rediscover parts of myself I thought were gone. It’s given me motivation, new goals, opportunities to compete and grow, and a place where I truly feel supported and connected. Along the way, I’ve met some incredible people and built friendships I’ll always value.

I am seeking donations to help support travel, accommodation and fuel costs throughout the season, as well as hopefully my own sports chair. Your support would make a great difference in helping me continue my dreams.
