ABOUT Jess Newman

Hi!

My name is Jess, and I am a student athlete training out of South Coast BJJ in Adelaide. During the 2025 competition season, I achieved 16 submission wins and went undefeated in the gi. In 2026 and 2027 I am hoping to exceed this by competing at nationals, ADCC, and Pan Pacs.

I am currently working in education and inclusion support, partway through my occupational therapy degree, and training daily. However, travelling interstate/overseas for competitions is expensive. Funds raised will go directly toward:

  • Flights and travel costs
  • Accommodation during tournaments
  • Competition entry fees

All donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible through the Australian Sports Foundation.

By contributing, you are not only helping me chase my dreams but also supporting the development of females in combat sports.
