My Fundraising Story: Help Me Represent Australia in Germany

My name is Jess, and I’ve been given an opportunity that means the world to me: I’ve been selected to represent Australia in inline hockey at the Masters Inline Hockey World Cup in Germany. This is a dream I’ve worked toward for years — countless hours of training and games, and a deep love for the sport and the community around it.

Inline hockey has shaped who I am. It’s taught me resilience, teamwork, discipline, and the joy of pushing myself beyond what I thought possible. Being chosen to wear the green and gold on the world stage is not just an honour — it’s the culmination of a lifelong passion.

    🌍 Why I’m Raising Funds

As exciting as this opportunity is, it comes with significant personal costs. Masters athletes fund their own travel, accommodation, uniforms, tournament fees, and equipment. To make this dream a reality, I’m seeking support to help cover:

    • Flights to Germany
    • Accommodation during the tournament
    • Team fees and uniforms
    • Training and equipment costs

Every contribution helps lighten the financial load and brings me one step closer to representing Australia with pride.

🏒 Why This Matters to Me

Playing for Australia isn’t just about competing — it’s about showing what dedication can achieve at any age. It’s about inspiring others in my community, especially younger players, to chase their goals no matter how big they seem. It’s about proving that passion and hard work can take you across the world.

This opportunity is rare, and I’m giving it everything I have.

    💛 How You Can Help

Your support — whether through donations or simply sharing my story — means more than I can express. It’s not just financial help; it’s encouragement, belief, and community behind me as I step onto the world stage.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to make Australia proud.
