    ABOUT Jessica Woolsey

    Strathpine, QLD

Jess was born with Down syndrome and autism, and is excited and nervous to be representing Australia, for the first time, at the 2026 International Cheerleading Union (ICU) World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida, USA in April, 2026.

Jess has been dancing since 2019 with the Madeline Stuart Dance Company and dancing is her passion. She has worked incredibly hard to reach the level of ability required to be a part of Team Australia. In fact, Jess has been selected to be in two teams: Special Abilities Hip Hop and Special Olympics Hip Hop.

The 2026 ICU World Cheerleading Championships is Olympic-sanctioned, televised live on the official Olympic Sports channel, and hosts athletes from countries all around the world. This event is held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.

We are fundraising to help with the associated costs of international airflights, accommodation, uniforms, costumes etc. Please help her if you can.
