    ABOUT Jonathan Lintoo

Jono's Journey: From Local Courts to the National Stage

Hi, we're the proud parents of Jonathan (aka) Jono, a 15-year-old with a big heart and even bigger dreams. Ever since he picked up a volleyball two years ago, something sparked inside him. What began as a weekend hobby quickly became a daily passion — a commitment to push himself, support his teammates, and grow as both a player and a young man.

Jono now trains with the Greater Melbourne Volleyball Association (GMVA) Junior Program, one of the best development pathways for young athletes in Victoria. His dedication, discipline, and love for the sport have helped him thrive in local and regional competitions, representing both his school and club in several tournaments.

This year, all his hard work paid off — Jono has been selected to represent Victoria in the upcoming National Volleyball Championships in Perth.

It's an incredible opportunity. He’ll compete against the best players from across Australia, gain exposure to elite coaching, and take another step toward his dream of one day representing Australia on the international stage.

But this opportunity comes at a cost.

All expenses — including flights, accommodation, uniforms, training camps, and tournament fees — must be covered by families. That’s why we’ve set up this page with the Australian Sports Foundation.

Your donation is TAX DEDUCTIBLE and goes directly toward helping Jonathan compete.

Every contribution, big or small, brings Jonathan closer to Perth — and closer to his dream. Whether you’re a friend, family member, local business, or a fellow sports lover, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support.

Let’s help Jonathan make the most of this amazing opportunity and keep chasing his dream — one serve, one set, and one step at a time.

Thank you for being part of his journey.
