ABOUT Jordan Roberts
My name is Jordan Roberts, and I am a 24-year-old athlete balancing work, study, and intensive training as I chase a dream much bigger than myself. This year, I have the incredible opportunity to compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston—the world’s largest and most prestigious rowing event.
This race is more than just a competition; it is a stepping stone toward my ultimate goal of representing Australia on the world stage in 2026. At the Head of the Charles, I will line up against athletes who are also competing at the 2025 World Rowing Championships. It’s a rare chance to compare myself directly to some of the best in the world, measure the progress of my training, and raise my performance to the next level.
Recently, I’ve achieved personal best scores on the 5km ergo and have been training with renewed focus under the guidance of coach Scott Rowe. Every stroke, every early morning, and every sacrifice is driven by my passion for rowing and the belief that I can achieve something extraordinary.
Getting to the Head of the Charles requires significant financial support—for travel, equipment, and competition costs. By contributing, you’re not just helping me line up at the start; you’re joining me on this journey, fuelling a dream built on discipline, resilience, and a determination to make Australia proud.
