Hi everyone! My name is Jordan Woolmer, and I’m proud to say I’ve represented Australia on the international stage in Deaf basketball several times — and now I’ve been selected once again to wear the green and gold at the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Representing our country is always an incredible honour, and being part of the Deaflympics is something truly special. This has been a life changing journey over the past thirteen years and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported and helped build the foundations of Deaf Basketball in Australia. For me, this has not only been about competing with the best of the best on the world stage but also showing the world what Deaf athletes are capable of, breaking barriers, and inspiring the next generation.

While I have worn the Australian jersey with pride many times, each journey is predominately self-funded, and I’m reaching out for your support to help me get to Japan. As with past campaigns, I’m responsible for covering all costs, including travel, accommodation, uniforms, and training expenses — upwards of $8,500. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to competing alongside the world’s best Deaf athletes and continuing to represent our amazing country.
