ABOUT Jordan Lees
I didn’t grow up in golf.
Less than three years after picking up a club, I turned professional and now I’m taking my shot at the international stage.
I’m Jordan Lees, an Australian professional golfer.
Before golf, I played cricket, represented at a high level in table tennis, and played semi-professional rugby in Scotland. When COVID hit, everything changed — and I picked up a golf club. What started as something new quickly became everything.
Within three years, I went from a 36 handicap to scratch and turned professional.
Since then, I’ve built my game from the ground up. Working full-time in the golf industry, coaching, and funding my own development while competing. I’ve won multiple PGA Associate events and consistently performed at a high level, but getting here hasn’t been easy.
Early mornings, long days, paying for travel, entry fees, and training myself — backing myself every step of the way.
This year is a full commitment to my playing career.
After completing the PGA of Australia MPP, I’m relocating to Ireland and competing on the Tartan Pro Tour in Scotland. This is where I test my game internationally — where I either take the next step, or fall behind.
There’s no safety net at this level. Every event, every flight, every opportunity is self-funded.
That’s where you come in.
Your support helps me compete, prepare properly, and give myself a real chance to build a career in professional golf.
My goal is to compete in all four Major Championships — and this year, I have my first real opportunity to qualify.
Million Dollar Challenge
I’m proud to be part of the Aussie Athlete Fund’s Million Dollar Challenge.
The goal is simple — pair 100 athletes with 100 businesses to raise $10,000 each, building toward a collective $1 million to support Australian athletes chasing high-performance careers.
Competing internationally is incredibly demanding — physically, mentally, and financially. Most athletes at this level are self-funded and rely on support to stay in the game.
This initiative, led by 5-time Olympian Nat Cook, helps remove those barriers by providing fundraising support, education, and connections with businesses.
If you’ve read this far — you’re already part of the journey.
Now I’m asking you to back it.
Every contribution helps me take another step toward the PGA Tour.
I’m all in on this.
