ABOUT Josh Cleverley
Our son Josh has spent over half his life chasing a dream on two wheels. Through countless hours of training, early mornings, long road trips, and unwavering determination, he has qualified to represent Australia at the 2026 UCI BMX World Championships in Brisbane.
At just 10 years old, Josh will have the honour of wearing the Green & Gold and competing against the best BMX riders from around the world in his age category.
Like many grassroots sporting families, we have proudly supported Josh’s BMX journey every step of the way. As we prepare to travel to Brisbane for the 2026 UCI BMX World Championships, we are seeking support to help offset a small part of the cost of getting Josh to the start gate — specifically, fuel for the journey.
At the heart of Josh’s story is an incredible passion for BMX. For someone so young, his commitment to the sport is remarkable. Whether he’s training, racing, or working on a new skill, he is always looking for ways to improve. Along the way there have been plenty of bruises, grazes, crashes, and more than a few holes worn through the knees of his pants — but his determination never wavers.
With thousands of kilometres to cover and diesel prices that like to keep us guessing, every contribution helps keep the wheels turning on Josh’s journey to Brisbane. And with any luck, it might even help get us back home again!
This is such an amazing & exciting milestone for a young rider who has worked incredibly hard to earn his place among the world’s best. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring him one step closer to living his dream and proudly representing Australia on the world stage.
From our family, thank you for believing in Josh and helping to support his journey to the UCI BMX World Championships.
