This project was created from one family’s experience — a son’s passion to learn rugby union and his parents’ desire to see him belong to a transparent, structured, and supportive community.

Through Joshua’s first year playing rugby union and representing at the Pasifika Cup, we recognised the need for a pathway that values fairness, belonging, and opportunity over politics or bias.

Fijian Grass Roots Rugby Union was founded by families, for families — a growing initiative that aims to build this vision from the ground up. We are not yet a formally established club, but with every dollar raised, we move closer to registering, gaining recognition, and developing structured programs that serve our Pacific community.

Financial transparency is at the forefront of everything we do — ensuring that every contribution goes directly into player development, coaching, and community programs.

Our goal is to create a trusted and inclusive rugby platform where every child, regardless of outcome, can grow in confidence, culture, and purpose — both on and off the field.
