ABOUT Judeland Antony

Help Me Represent Australia—and Build the Future of Wheelchair Handball

I’m incredibly proud to have been selected to represent Australia at the Wheelchair Handball World Championship in Spain in September 2026.

Becoming a wheelchair user at the age of 11 changed my life, but it never changed my determination. Sport helped me rebuild my confidence, independence and belief in what was possible. After years of competing in wheelchair sports and representing Victoria nationally, I now have the honour of wearing the green and gold on the world stage.

However, this journey is bigger than me and bigger than one championship.

Wheelchair handball is still developing in Australia, and our athletes currently fund their own journeys. Donations will help cover my flights, accessible accommodation, competition fees, training camps, uniforms, equipment, local transportation and disability-related travel support.

Every contribution will also help demonstrate that wheelchair handball has a strong future in Australia. We have a national competition this year, the opportunity to participate in Handball for All in France next year, and the long-term dream of seeing wheelchair handball become a Paralympic sport.

We are not only competing for medals—we are creating a pathway that future athletes can follow.

I want the next generation of people with disabilities to see sport as a place where they belong, where their talent is recognised and where representing Australia is a real possibility. The barriers we break today can become opportunities for everyone tomorrow.

Your support will help me proudly represent Australia, raise awareness of wheelchair handball and contribute to building an inclusive and sustainable future for the sport.

This is our opportunity to create something bigger than ourselves—a future where every person, regardless of disability, has the chance to participate, compete, dream and succeed.

Thank you for believing in me, our team and the future of wheelchair handball in Australia. Together, we can turn possibility into opportunity and leave a pathway for generations to come. 🇦🇺
