ABOUT Julian Baudry
Hi! I’m Julian Baudry, an 18-year-old cyclist from Bright, Victoria, a small town nestled in the mountains and known for its cycling culture. It’s where my love for the sport began, and where the dream of becoming a professional cyclist was born.
In 2025, I’m proud to be racing as the Australian U23 Road Race National Champion, wearing the green and gold jersey in Europe. I’ve also signed with the Atom6 Bikes–Decca Continental Team, a Belgian-based team that will give me the chance to race across multiple countries, gain valuable experience, and continue progressing toward my ultimate goal: reaching the World Tour.
This is a huge step forward in my cycling career, but as with many young Aussie cyclists, the biggest hurdle isn’t motivation or work ethic, it’s funding.
What I Need Support For:
While I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, it comes with significant personal expenses. I’m responsible for covering:
- Flights to and from Europe
- Accommodation while based in Belgium
- Food and day-to-day living expenses
- Transport between races
- Insurance and health-related costs
Why it matters:
Representing Australia as the U23 national champion is an honour I don’t take lightly. I’ll wear the jersey with pride and race with everything I’ve got, not just for myself, but for everyone backing me. This isn’t just about chasing results; it’s about gaining the experience and exposure I need to earn a future contract and keep climbing toward the top level of the sport.
Every bit of support, whether it’s financial or simply sharing this page, brings me closer to making that happen.
I’ll be posting updates along the way, and I promise to give it my all every time I pin on a number.
Cheers,
Julian
